The Wells Carlton Hotel and Luxury Apartments was recently opened in Asokoro, one of the major districts and high class area in Abuja. I was opportune to attend the grand opening and need I say I was stunned and speechless at the amazing beauty that stood before me.
Before attending, I had heard about this edifice and was super thrilled to hear what the story behind it was about. In the words of the Chairman, Captain Idahosa Wells Okunbo, “ This world-class icon is for those who demand only the very best. It took me nine years to achieve it; not nine years because it could not have been ready sooner, but nine years because only the word ‘perfect’ will do. The brand stands for my character of tenacity, perfection, integrity and excellence.”
The Event
The event was scheduled to start at 4pm but I didn’t get there until about 4:50pm because of ladies’ drama and dressing up. Fortunately for me, it was just starting when I arrived. I attended with other bloggers in Abuja Tonye, and and they sure did make my evening memorable.
Alibaba was the host of the ceremony and it was a rib cracking evening as one serious conversation switches into a relatable joke. As the evening progresses, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo was ushered in for the launch.
After the cutting of the ribbon, the guests were shown round the luxury rooms and what other beauty lay in this masterpiece that speaks class and elegance. Afterwards, we moved to the rooftop where Davido and Kiss Daniel performed live to the delight of all in attendance. It was at this point I left and missed out on the luxurious goody bag that was shared to the guests afterwards.

The Wells Carlton features 55 luxury rooms, 6 junior suites and 4 executive suites, conference centre, which are perfect for social and corporate events. The edifice is well designed and tailored to fit into every man’s choice of sophistication.

The hotel boasts of beautiful penthouses and Apartments that only seeing would justify its beauty and appeal. For those who loves to shop luxury perfumes, there’s a store at the ground floor where you can get sweet smelling perfumes. It is called Rare Dahlia.
The hospitality services it offers are numerous and this include a state of the art swimming pool, spa, restaurants and bar, business center and a gym.
One of the features that got me so thrilled about it is the rooftop that gives you an overview of the beautiful city of Abuja. This terrace has a capacity for 300 people with an exclusive restaurant and bar.
The luxury Apartments indeed speaks world class excellence and state of the art luxury from the walk in to the rooms and even the various hospitality it offers. The Wells Carlton Hotel and Luxury Apartments was officially opened for business on the 16th of December.
