Still others commit all sorts of evil deeds, claiming karma doesn’t exist. They erroneously maintain that since everything is empty, committing evil isn’t wrong. Such persons fall into a hell of endless darkness with no hope of release. Those who are wise hold no such conception.
Nothing ever gets to Ella. Before he’s imprisoned for murder, he needs to find a way to get out of this hell hole called marriage. He has always thought of this but he just can’t bear to be separated from his daughter.
She’s a princess. The most sweetest loving girl he has ever held in his arms. She has got beautiful eyes and smile like her mother but she is extremely calm and quiet.
But at this stage, he has had it to its peak. It’s better her daughter has both parents who still loved her than one who will be jailed for killing the other.
After a long discussion…
Colleague: By the way, are you married?
Me: ? Ah no
Colleague: But why?
Me: What kind of question is this? How am I suppose to answer why I’m not yet married?<<
lleague: noticed my hesitation… But you will soon, right?
Me: Well, yeah…this year or next…
Colleague: But how come you are not sure?
Me: ??now this is getting really interesting… Well, for one, bobo is marrying me not the other way round. Plus two, what if we are both not financially ready yet?
Colleague: My dear, you are not supposed to wait for him to be ready. Men are never ready. You are suppose to push him until he is ready. And on the financial ish, get married and see doors opening for you…
Me : I looked at him, shook my head, stood up and walked away… Some of you will say my feminist and faithless side is coming alive.
‘Her son is barely 6 months and she’s pregnant again?’
‘I used to think she would be one who understands what child spacing mean?’
‘Child spacing??? Her first child was just 8 months when she had her second.’
‘Jesus! She is so shameful to womanhood.’
‘I even used to think she is a career woman and would take time to pursue her career instead of birthing up and down like a dog. She just used marriage to put a full stop to her career.’
This is going to be a rhetoric post, I just need to get some clarifications on this:
It’s going to be a comparison between marriage in the ’40s-80’s and the marriages in the ’20’s. I am going to start this with a quick intro about what I learned from my folks about their marriage…it’s a vague note tho…I was told when I was much younger, there might be a few mix up. read more
