Hello pretty girl, welcome to society!
The one who knows what suits you more
Than you know yourself
The one who tell you what to do
And mock you behind you
The one who hail your milestone
And bully you anonymously
The one who look you in the eye and call you beautiful
But describe how ugly you look to others
Society will call you fat
Skinny
Too dark
Too fair
Too hairy
Too bald
Will even give you solutions
But won’t stop ridiculing
Whichever way you appear
It is really up to you, darling
To make sure you love how you are
If you do not love it, deal with it
If you do, flaunt it in their faces
You do not have to look like them
To fit in

Just make sure you are healthy
And you’d be fine in the end
It’s always irking when people look at another and just feel the need to negatively comment on their body and make them feel really bad. What you shamed this one for, another wishes for it so badly. We can’t have it all, so let’s learn to appreciate people for what and who they are. Everyone has a struggle they deal with!
Ever been body shamed? What’s your thought about body shaming? Do you think anyone has the right to tell others how they should look? Do share your thoughts on this and do not forget to follow me on on all social media platform.
Haha. This is a topic I really like. Can write a whole book about this. Dami’s too skinny is a statement I’ve heard over and over for years in my life. But I’ve learned to be unbothered these days. People should learn body shaming is not cool.

You’re welcome every time ?
Sincerely I really appreciate this post because society had been giving me issues that I am fat and have big Tommy but now I love myself and I am ready to flaunt it in their faces

Please do darling! ?❤️
I guess the whole idea is for one to feel comfortable in their size. I know people around me that would talk if i get fat hahaha. My brother often tell me and my elder sister that we have big stomach and we need to loose it hahaha. I guess i am not really offended by it because he is family and i can tell his intention behind the comment. Nothing derogatory. Really, its not about them talking but rather how do I feel about my body and does my weigh affect my health because truly the goal should be “Am i healthy?” If I am not, i work on it. I definitely don’t agree with body slamming but I also believe that we should not accept certain things for ourselves but exercise discipline at all times. Those that speak in derogatory ways about people’s weight show how immature they are.
